Hotel a Tonka Bay

“Shuttle staff helpful & friendly, but wasn't 100% sure where to meet as it was our first time being picked up. Front counter staff knowledgeable, but difficult to interact with. Entry was dirty with snow salt so not a good first impression. Room TV needed maintenance, but was fixed quickly.”

“Treadmill not working needed wax, room clean, desk in room showing a lot of wear, paint spatters on floor. Ants on floor in bathroom. Bed comfortable. Had water dripping from ceiling fan in bathroom from room above (I was in 122) I reported it to desk on checkout. Hallway cluttered with laundry baskets. Breakfast buffet not well stocked. Basically the place needs updating, carpet dirty. Parking lot icy”

“The shuttle is filthy and rundown. There are renovations going on in the hotel. Right around us actually. Something they might have made us aware of. When we complained we were told quiet time is 7pm. We had little sleep coming in and needed to be up at 5. Not impressed ”

“Everything was perfect! The only issue I encountered was the shuttle service - although this is not the staff’s fault at all. The storm affected quite a bit and I don’t feel the hotel was ready. Otherwise, I would highly recommend the hotel and will definitely stay here the next time I’m in Minneapolis. ”

“The property was good overall. My only complaint is that the hot tub was not open on my check out day. I was told by the front desk that it should be open shortly but hours later still nothing. I booked this hotel because of the hot tub. ”

“Very disappointing in that there were few hangars in a stand-up small closet unit and no dresser just little "cubby holes" like in pre-school. The staff was nice and lobby area clean however, the work-out room didn't have a working hand sanitizer machine,no paper towels to wipe down equipment after usage and the TV wasn.t sinked to their cable provider. The wall heating unit in the room was not working due to a circuit breaker being tripped that my husband was able to re-set but shouldn't have...

“The room was very clean and spacious, the AC/heating system was very efficient. The space truly felt like home away from home. There was a convenient shuttle that took us to the mall and anywhere that we needed that was close and it picked us up. The staff were helpful, sometimes didn’t seem extremely inviting, but did their job to assist guests when asked”
